The Future Center was with a group of students for Teach Day at UW-Stout and Leah just happened to be a part of one of the breakout sesssions! ![]()
Leah is a Logan grad from a few years ago. She is currently a junior majoring in Elementary Education. " I love Stout and can't wait to begin student teaching," said Leah! 🍎✏️![]()

Another fabulous Build My Future event put on the La Crosse Area Builders Association (LABA)!![]()
More than 75 different hands on opportunties were available for students to try out from laying flooring to operating heavy equipment to welding and so much more. 🔨 👷![]()
Thanks to LABA and all the volunteer vendors who helped make a "day in the trades" possible for students to explore different career paths!
Lack of parking, potholes, homelessness, recycling, and more were just some of the topics presented during Central High School SOUP.![]()
Modeled after La Crosse SOUP, students at Central researched a variety of topics, and presented to a panel of judges.![]()
"So many creative ideas and great presentations. Many of the kids stepped out of their comfort zones for this project," said SOUP Judge and Future Center Advisor Kathi!![]()
The winning idea was creation of a donation bin/drive for health care and hygiene products. ![]()
